To put KBM's involvement into perspective, consider the volume of materials that will be placed in the South Health Campus over the course of its development...

• Enough stair treads to climb up and over a 100 storey building like the Empire State Building. (Or climb the Calgary Tower multiple times).
• Rubber tile in the amount required to cover an entire football field.
• The total quantity of sheet vinyl would cover 14 standard sized city blocks or 105 Olympic-sized swimming pools.
• The flooring seams have enough weld rod to sufficiently wrap around the hospital building envelope 100 times over.

Outside of standard institutional flooring, KBM was also given the opportunity to add a touch of "flair". Imagine if you will, stepping on to tiling unlike anything you have ever experienced. As your weight shifts with your steps, the motion creates a wave of colour under your feet.
